Have a look at the model text and see if you can identify any of the language features we have been looking at such as:
Adverbial phrases e.g. He whispered slowly, glancing anxiously, at the door of the room as the clock struck twelve (manner, place, time)
Sentences to build suspense: Joe hopped. (short, snappy) What was it? (rhetorical question) Just jump! (exclamation sentence) Bill ran down the road, jumped over the wall and collapsed (3 for action)

When you get to writing 'what he did' and 'what she did' try and write a 3ed sentence for each.

- We are continuing our new unit, 'Les animaux'.
- Have a look through this 'Les animaux' PowerPoint to remind yourself of some of the animal names we have learned so far.
- Now have a go at this worksheet - matching these animal pictures with the correct names.
