Using the text you read the other day on electricity can you name the different units of measurement used in relation to electricity. What are their names and what do they measure?
All
of the electrical appliances in our homes have a wattage, and the wattage of an
appliance tells us how much power is needed to operate it – the higher the
wattage, the more power is needed to operate the appliance. Make a list of appliances from around your home and put them under the headings of high wattage or low wattage depending on how much electricity you think they use.
Appliances
that are louder / hotter / brighter / move more, usually require more energy.
