Here is another text based on electricity. Read through the text and have a go at answering the questions. This lesson will be for today's and tomorrow's afternoon sessions as I know last time it took awhile for you all to work your way through them so do not worry if you don't get them all done today.

Balloon experiment - 

If you have some balloons at home or even just a plastic comb have a go at these experiments:

Static electricity

Balloon and hair – Rub a balloon on woollen clothes and then hold it against your hair to observe what happens.

Two balloons – Rub them against woollen clothing and then hang them from the ceiling close together and watch them repel each other.

Cotton clothing – Rub balloons on cotton clothing and observe what happens when you hold it against your hair.

Magic wand – Rub a plastic comb on woollen clothing and then hold it close to running water and watch what happens.
