Handing in home learning

 Please remember that home learning is now mandatory.

Thursday home learning 07/01/21

To use a stimuli to focus on senses and create a setting.
Listen to video, close your eyes and think about all of your senses.
Draw what comes to mind while you listen. Use shading to create feeling.
Once you have drawn, use a black pen to write specific words that come to mind in capital letters.
Create a paragraph to describe a setting based on what you have drawn. (It can be anywhere)
Have a look back at the tension toolkit I gave you for the cold task for clues to help you.

French

This term our topic is Le Carnival
Draw a picture of a carnival and see if you can label the different things using French terminology.

PE

This half term our topic is Athletics/Fitness
Use your living room/garden to carry out some fitness activities.
This could be running, skipping, jumping. Anything that increases your heart rate.
Can you challenge other family members?

Home Learning - 2/12

 Hi Sam and Sophie,

Really sorry you are back at home. I have included on here what everyone will be doing in school the next few days in case you need it.

Maths

Today we will be carrying on from yesterday.

PPT - I have attached the PowerPoint with your fluency, reasoning and problem solving on for you to have a go at.

 We will be carrying on writing our Beating a monster stories. 

Can you have a go at home writing these? Remember to think about the story mountain.

Computing

Could you then type up your story on a computer?

If you have the Scratch app on any device have a go at creating some sequences.

Geography

On Friday afternoon we will be having a go at creating some structures that can withstand earthquakes.

Have a go using spaghetti pasta and blu tak or marshmallows to hold them together.
