Think about how you can use verbs (action words) to explain a characters reaction to something. E.g. Joanne shuddered
Can you come up with your own examples? 10 mins
Continue to learn the model text, drawing your text map and creating actions to internalise it - 30 mins
Shortburst - You overhear a pet talking about an evil plan against its owner. What is the plan? Do you try to stop it? 20 mins writing. The children do these in class regularly so will be confident with this.

Begin learning the model text. Draw a text map as well as learning actions for the words to help you memorise it.

Most of the children are swimming this afternoon so have a look at this PE video for a way of doing some exercise while you are at home.
