In class we have looked at pulleys, levers and counterweights last week.

This week we will be designing our own cranes and then having a go at building them using different resources that we can find around school. Can you have a go at home? You could use cardboard and paper or even building toys such as Lego, K'nex or building blocks.

DT - We will be looking at Cranes in DT.

Can you research cranes and how they work? Levers, pulleys and counterweights.

Worksheet 1 - Label the counterweight, pulley and lever on each crane
